A Little About This Blog
Bush Mackel.com was started in February of 2007 and at first struggled to find its voice. Over the next couple of months, this little blog found its purpose with blogging tips and topical discussions regarding video games and related technologies.

Now some three years later, it’s mostly the same – Me commenting on whatever tech thing I’m into at the moment (which currently is achievements). And in case you’re new to the site, here are some of my favourite posts:

A Little About Me
Like many others, I’m a computer and video game enthusiast who thought that being a game programmer when I grew up would be the “bees’ knees”. Later I decided this wasn’t the way to go after I landed a BETA Tester job with Bethesda Softworks and saw first hand the long hours that game programmers inevitably have to work.

After this, I did the whole “Corporate Hell” thing for oh, about 2 to 3 years and really hated life. I think I’m an entrepreneur at heart so being stuck at a desk having someone else DICTATE how much I was going to make that year… It sucked it just really sucked.

But as of late 2009 I bought my freedom and now I’m working hard to make sure I never have to go back!
