My Favourite Things
So with all of the anniversary hoopla going on ’round here, I thought that I’d take a break from the “usual” and write some posts about things you don’t often see on here.
Currently, I’m far too busy to support another blog, so there are often a ton of thoughts and things going on in my life that I don’t get to share because they don’t fit the “Bush Mackel” mold.
But I think THIS is one of those times where I can talk about some other things so you can get to know me a bit better.

First off, this is not a meme. If I were smart, I’d probably make it into a meme to get some links back here but that would have me tagging people and I just hate doing that. Furthermore, I’m pretty sure it’s a lock that the “Favourite Things” meme has been done before, though maybe not with the UK spelling. (#);)
So check it out, these are just a few of my favourite things, guilty pleasures, and stuff that I just enjoy. I have a really hard time saying that X is my FAVOURITE thing, so don’t hold it against me if I name a few things per category ok?

I love raspberry – best flavor ever! Also best tasting little berry! Yum! I love reading posts like these and finding out more about my fellow bloggers. I wonder which Batman you like best? Hmm. Of course my fave will always be Adam West from the old television series. I had such a crush on that guy. Even his voice. Woo-hooo. Made me all wiggly in the legs. Oops – sorry if that’s TMI and for showing my age. LOL.

Go Basketball! If you lived near me, I would’ve invited you to a basketball match.
By the way, have you ever seen football players play basketball? I saw the BC Lions doing it today, and, I feel real sorry for the ball.

@Teeni – Which Batman do I like best? Hm. Hard question. And you’ll have to excuse me for a second, ’cause things are gonna get WAY geeky WAY fast.
As far as TV and Movie adaptations (org Batman, Batman : The Animated Series, The Batman, Batman Beyond, Batman Movies, Batman Beyond : Return of the Joker), I’d probably go for Christian Bale Batman. Even though my pref is prob a reflection of the script more than anything, that Batman seemed to be truer to the “real Batman”. And cartoon wise, Batman : The Animated Series was awesome in style, dialogue and story.
I actually used to be a bigger Spider-Man fan, but the recent movie franchise destroyed that love as THAT Spidey is NOTHING like the comic book one. (Comic book Spidey is really funny and witty).
Getting back to YOUR Batman though, my fav scene is probably when he’s on a helicopter and a shark is around his leg. And of course the only thing to do is to ask Robin to get the Bat-Anti-Shark-Repellent. That’s what I call JAWSOME!
@Grace – You know, I really love PLAYING basketball but I don’t watch college and I only watch the NBA when it’s finals times. Weird huh?
But if you invited me out, I’d definitely show. It’d be a lot of fun. Do you play yourself or do you just like to take in the games?

Its great to know these things about you. Even i am a Spider Man fan . And gears of war was a great game . Finally i completed it .

@Madhur – I really wanted to take some more time with it and give my reasons as to why these things are my favourite, but then this post would’ve been close in size to the Never Ending Story. (#):)
And Gears is a GREAT game isn’t it? Even though the plot of the game seems like it was sent through a paper shredder and then reassembled later, using the chainsaw on ppl is more than reason to forgive and forget. (#):)

I am more than amused that I’m actually eating a deviled egg and listening to the Carpenters version of Rainbow Connection as I read this.
I own the PaRappa OST, because I’m that geek-tastic (I also bought the Bust-A-Move/Groove OSTs) Something about rapping about having to use the bathroom is made of awesome and win.

@Kali – A girl after my own heart! You know, the Carpenters have done a lot of songs again and they actually turned out pretty good. (#):) I def like their version of Rainbow Connection more than some, though Me First and the Gimme Gimmies isn’t bad. *nod*
And you have the Bust a Groove OST too huh? Hm. I’m gonna have to challenge you… Along with my normal CDs in my car wallet right now is of course the Bust a Groove OST, Samba De Amigo OST, and a DDR double disc (one containing a non stop groove of all songs). BOOYAKA (#):D

I wish I’d gotten ahold of the Samba De Amigo. I do have a lot of the DDR music on my Ipod. I think the most obscure OST I have is the 3rd Bust-a-Move. I was hoping to get Um Jammer Lammy, but I haven’t managed to find a legitimate copy of it.
I’m also looking for legitimate copies of the Final Fantasy VI soundtrack and all its variations, but the only ones I find are selling for over $100.

@Kali – I hear ya on Um Jammer Lammy. I LOVE the firefighting song. “Hold the hose real tight and get ready for a real fight…”

LOL. Well, you did warn me and it did get geeky! LOL. Talking about these shows reminds me of my favorite show growing up – I think I saw it in reruns though – it was Get Smart. And the movie the Nude Bomb, I thought was even funnier than all the Airplane movies.

@Teeni – I think Get Smart is being remade into a movie with Steve Carrell(sp).
@Nirmal – What’s the simliar stuff? MY GUESS is the love of American Gladiators. (#):D
