Taste of Bethesda 2007
One of the things you may or may not know about me is that I love eating.
I think food tastes great, and it is definitely one of the great things about being alive. (If you don’t believe me, you should taste some of things I bake sometime. (#);))
Having said that, one of the only redeeming things about the city I live in is its yearly food event, Taste of Bethesda!
A Good Time for All
Taste of Bethesda is an event held in the city I live in once a year about this time where all the local vendors (and we have a lot) have a chance to come out and showcase their goodies to the public. It’s basically just like a huge street fair but here every booth is food and there really aren’t any games. Which is fine by me.

What I Ate
As I said before, at Taste of Bethesda there is something for everyone! There was Indian food, Thai food, Chinese food, Mexican food and um…food for me. (#):) That’s right!, even with the crucial variety of food available, YOUR BOY had to go with what he liked which included two slices of pizza (one from two different restaurants), a chocolate bundt cake, plus a hot dog! Here I am enjoying my hot dog.

And if you can’t tell from the picture, the hot dog (like the event and the band’s awesome cover of Crossroads by Cream) was delicious!

LOL you sound like my former coworker even with variety he stuck to “traditional” food. What a great shot even when you are eating you still have that happy look on your face. Perhaps because you are eating, eh? ;-) Always nice seeing shots of my online pals. You and Thomas inspired my portrait today.

Oh I would have been eating Indian food. I wish I had known about it I would have gone to this event. I remember my aunt was yapping about it last year. I’ve noticed since becoming a mother I’m always behind the 8 ball when it comes to local events! hee hee I need to change that.

@Aaron - Thanks man, and that was a HILARIOUS write up! (#):D
@Pete - Thanks for the idea. Man…I wish I had a hot dog now. I put some ketchup and mustard on it. Hmmmmm mm. ! I think I have a hot dog at home! I should leave work now, make one and cut up some onions…..*drool*…
@Opal T - I could’ve swore I told you about Taste of Bethesda the day before on your blog! I know I told you the day of. Sorry buddy! Next time you’ll get a private e-mail. You and your girl would’ve loved it!

@Pete - Hm. Maybe I shouldn’t've posted this. Aren’t you trying to drop a couple stones Pete? I’ve actually been running a lot lately which is why I can eat a little worse. These days that’s basically the only reason why I exercise.

Hi, Bush! Looks like a great time! And here I thought I was the only person posting hot dog photos! I love hot dogs and have to eat one at every baseball game!

Oh, they are so bad for us, so why do they taste so goood? Hot dogs, especially out in the open air like at a fair or a ball game - they are the best. Love the pic of you! You are too cute - you don’t even make dorky faces when you’re eating like I do. LOL. Glad you had fun with family and food!

@Tish - Every time I look at that photo…I get hungry all over again. (#):)
@Pete - Will do. You know I’ve been losing some weight myself lately, and even though I have been running a lot more, I’ve been practicing new eating habits too. Basically I eat what I want to Fri-Sun and during the week and try and do a “little” better. I think it’s helping!
@Teeni - You’re too kind, but I assure you I can make some “GREAT” faces while eating, I just knew I was on camera. (#);)
