I am not familiar with Dead to Rights, so I am unsure about the comparison. I would love to tell you that Stranglehold doesn’t get boring, but I only got passed the first boss.

I will say that once you have precision aim, crotch shots do not get old. I think that this game honestly has enough diversity of the play that it should stay interesting. I am looking forward to getting back to it – and Halo 3 coming out on Tuesday. It seems there are quite a few excellent games out right now!

@Thomas – Thanks for the heads up. I actually downloaded that a while ago and had a BLAST with it! There was another game that it reminded me (in some regards) called Dead to Rights. I’m a bit hesitant to buy it though because I’m afraid the gameplay might get stale a couple hours in. What do you think?

Bush - If you are a fan of John Woo or Chow Yun Fat, you should also check out Stranglehold. It is also an excellent game. Not a stealth game, it is an FPS.

@Thomas – Ha ha ha! I know exactly what you’re talking about. My friend Bubba used to be CRAZY about Ninja Gaiden and eventually he played it on its hardest difficulty. Needless to say, he started CURSING the horsemen boss/miniboss.

But really, don’t feel bad. Gameplay wise, that’s a really challenging game no matter the difficulty.

And thanks for the heads up on Tenchu Z again! I think that might be the one to get me back into that series. *nod*

I completely sucked at Ninja Gaiden. I liked the graphics, and I enjoyed the game play up until that danged Horseman with the bow in the village. I could not get past that.

I don’t have a lot of time to play video games, so if I spend a couple of house in the same area, and I am unable to advance the game definitely loses me.

I am not going to pretend that I am good at performing those dang tricky button sequence moves, and I think that is evident in how quickly I was done with Ninja Gaiden. I had even bought a book to help me with the game, and I still sucked at it.

@Opal T – Tell me I’d be saying this 5 years ago and I wouldn’t've believed you, but “Ninja Gaiden (not Garden) is much more brutal and bloody than Tenchu!” Which is crazy ’cause all you do in Tenchu is sneak around and assassinate people!

I thought it was funny that two of the bloggers I read were writing about that game, although I think he was playing the first one.
