Rockin Out with Rock Band
I heard about this game a little while ago, but now I’ve finally managed to get my eyes on a decent review from IGN and it’s taking me everything I got to keep myself from drooling all over my keyboard as I write this.

If you HAVEN’T heard, Rock Band is basically Guitar Hero x2. ::No no, that’s not it…:: It’s Guitar Hero to the max! ::No no, that’s not it either…:: It’s AT LEAST the fun of Guitar Hero times 4! If you’ve don’t know anything about the game here’s the gist: Instead of just one person playing the guitar, you can now play either the guitar, the bass, THE DRUMS or sing the vocals!!! Can you say, “Multiplayer MADNESS?!” I won’t bother to recap the whole preview because you can see it at IGN, but as I see it, here are the biggest things to be excited about:

- More realistic and complex guitar!
- Ability to play guitar, bass, drums or sing!
- From the makers of Karaoke Revolution and Guitar Hero!
- The drum gameplay is apparently so good the developers are saying that being able to play on Hard basically means you’re good enough to play the real thing!
- If Guitar Hero is already a 10 on the party game meter, Rock Band will have to be a 100!

@Madhur – Um…you may wanna look into it, but I think you can get a converter for the controller, and I THINK there are programs out there .
@Magus – That’s like me and the 360! What are we waiting for?! (I think you’re missing out more than me though!) The Wii is so new/innovative as far as gameplay is concerned.
