Random Thoughts for the 4th
Okay kids, since I don’t have a personal personal blog (my new site doesn’t count), I don’t really have an opportunity to voice many personal thoughts. In spirit of July 4th – I’m taking the day off from tech talk and am voicing some things that would otherwise go unsaid. It’ll be quick and it won’t be pretty but it’s a holiday, so cut me a break!
- I’m done with MySpace. I don’t wanna start with Facebook, and I’m also pretty much done with every other networking site. They take up too much of my time and while I haven’t made up my mind on this, I don’t think they really serve to forge meaningful relationships. (Kind of like text messaging w/ graphics). I’d much rather spend my time carving it up on here!
- I have finally conceded that I’ve lost my Native glasses. If you don’t know, these are some really kicka$$ sunglasses with interchangeable lenses and flexible frames. (Oh, and did I mention they have a LIFETIME guarantee?! If you don’t lose them that is).
- Street Fighter III is one of (if not) the BEST fighting games ever made.
- I don’t think that most people can pull off Hawaiian shirts. Furthermore, I don’t think that 4 people should ever show up to the same party together wearing Hawaiian shirts.
- I’m tired of my camera and really want a D-SLR.
- Baseball sucks to watch (sorry Apex) but softball is fun to play.
- I want to go to the UK sometime soon, and for my next vacation I want to go somewhere where hiking is not “the thing to do”.
- I like the Age of Love because Mark Philippoussis says what’s on his mind and you can easily read his face. (I’m still a guy aren’t I?)
- I LOVE The Shield. I’m halfway through Season 3 – It’s a great great show. I should form my own Strike Team at my office.
The end.

Ha, yeah those hawaiian shirts were TRIFLIN. It didn’t help that the guys wearing them were…toolbags?

I never even considered joining MySpace. Never liked it.
Street Fighter III eh? I think you’re right.

@Angela – That’s why we’re friends. I’m gonna have to update this post with a link/post I found on the subject.
@Brad – …They were a special kind of people that’s for sure. They must all be/have been computer majors of some kind.
@Brown – Thanks for agreeing! Are you a fellow fighting game fan? That’s all I used to play…until life happened. (#):D

The social sites are indeed hard to keep up with, and I do find myself spending less time with the majority of them on account of how busy I am. A few still are on my list: MBL and BumpZee. MySpace is a place I stay away from. It never really “fit” me. I’d much rather spend time working on my blogs.

@Mark – Even though we’ve “just met”, you’re someone whose thoughts I do appreciate…So maybe I SHOULD check out this BumpZee and MBL even though I don’t have much of a clue as to what either of them are haha.

Let us know when you join MBL and Bumpzee.
Fighting games? Heck yeah, I used to be a big fan hehe.

Oh wait a tick – MBL is My Blog Log isn’t it!? I must’ve been way tired yesterday to not realize that! I’m already a part of it HA HA HA
