Funny Conversation With the Wife
Since this is the weekend, I’m allowed to post about anything I want to right? Well today, I was dragged to some of my wife’s friend’s graduation parties, and at one of them, all they talked about was politics and world affairs. Now I know a little about that stuff, (not much), but enough to get by. My wife on the other hand knows NOTHING. She never watches the news, and it would make a good bet as to whether she could name a single person in congress. So anyhoo, on the way home, we had this little conversation…
Me: So, you didn’t know ANYTHING about what they were talking about today did you?
Wife: Nope.
Me: What’s that like? I mean, just not knowing anything about what goes on the world?
Wife: It was fine, I mean, I just didn’t say anything but smiled and nodded like a knew what they were talking about for the whole time I was there.
Me: Isn’t that what it’s like for the mentally challenged?
Wife: …
Wife: Well, you married me.

I think at that point, we were both just happy we were out of the “DC Think Tank” we unwittingly wondered into. Seriously. Can’t 20 something year olds find something more interesting to talk about? (#):D
